Our Soccer School is for children from the age of 4 (minimum) to 6yrs old. At the age of 6, children start to move to playing league football at Under 7s age group.

Soccer School exists to help children learn the fundamentals of football, including running with the ball, dribbling, turning, passing, shooting etc. We also aspire to help younger children with their “ABC”s, that is Agility, Balance and Co-Ordination.
This is achieved by playing lots of different games with a ball at their feet encouraging multiple touches during the sessions. We also play games without a ball, where basic skills like running, movement, balancing and teamwork are developed.

Children must wear shinpads (they are not very expensive and can be easily bought from shops like Sports Direct).
Footwear can either consist of trainers or football boots, however, please note that metal studs cannot be worn on the 3G Astro surface during Winter training sessions, so opt for moulded/plastic boots/blades.

Children should also bring a non-fizzy drink as it it thirsty work.

Children interested in joining can come along to a couple of sessions to see how they get on. If they wish to enrol for the season, we will handout a membership form.
Registered children will be supplied with a full training kit and club rain jacket.

If interested in coming along, please contact Mike Clothier.
